Sidharth Gupta is a talented Banquets Chef with a passion for culinary creativity and a deep respect for the art of cooking. His journey into the world of food was an unexpected one, but it became a true calling after he was inspired by the legendary Charlie Trotter. Sidharth's culinary philosophy is guided by the belief that cooking is about creating connections, evoking emotion, and sharing experiences.
Sidharth received his training at the prestigious Taj Connemera, one of Chennai’s top 5-star hotels, and furthered his skills with American Culinary Food Production at Canan School of Catering & Hotel Management in 2004. Throughout his career, he has embraced creativity, simplicity, and a commitment to using fresh, local ingredients that honor the flavors of each dish. His cooking style combines experimentation with sustainability, creating dishes that are both visually stunning and deeply satisfying.
A few of Sidharth’s career milestones include being recognized as the youngest Chef de Partie winning the Culinary Team of the Year award while at university. He also had the privilege of preparing a dinner for 3,000 guests, achieving a remarkable milestone with the most covers done in one meal. Sidharth’s love for food continues to inspire his work, and he remains dedicated to sharing the adventures and transformative moments that come with each dish.
